What you need to know

A real estate trust (fideicomiso inmobiliario) is a regulated legal structure in which a financial institution (the trustee) holds an asset — in this case, the storage spaces — on behalf of the investors (beneficiaries). Your right is registered and separated from Easy Space's own patrimony, so your investment is protected even in the event of any issue with the operating company.
